Kenya Students on Skype
Connecting Locally & Globally
Skype Calls & Project Showcase

As part of a gathering, we often connect students by Skype with students in other countries via web calls to learn about environmental issues they face and what students are doing to help protect the "Waldens" in their communities. Check out our Showcase to see some of the great work students around the world are doing.

About Student Gatherings
Who Participates

We typically work with older students - high school and college - who are involved in environmental stewardship projects or who are part of a class or group that wants to be. Sometimes we work with a select group of schools, teachers and students. For other gatherings, we've invited teachers to nominate students they feel are truly putting Thoreau's words into action.
